Location:    We are an  Award Winning Wedding and Retreat Venue located 5 minutes from Downtown McKinney.  Surrounded by 25 acres of woods, Avalon Legacy Ranch is a perfect getaway just minutes from McKinney.    Avalon Legacy Ranch has all the feels of a destination event without all the expense and inconvenience.   We have been told our venue reminds people of Colorado, South Texas, and the vineyards of California.  We don’t know which one is more true, just that Avalon Legacy Ranch is  an enchanting place, beautiful beyond description.

Experienced:  Avalon Legacy Ranch has hosted In-Service for Frisco I.S.D., Awards banquets for the McKinney High Schools, Wednesday night church gatherings, Non-Profit events, Church retreats, and Church Staff retreats.  If you can imagine it, we can plan it!  We sincerely want to be a part of making your vision work.  Our future plans include building an overnight retreat center on our property.

Setting:  On the 25 acres, you will find  bridges, acres of wooded coves, the lake with its wildlife, our barn-red stables, the rustic corrals, beautiful gardens, antique chandeliers, wooden pergolas and unique decor making Avalon Legacy Ranch a place no one will want to leave.

Our designer furnished 6,000 square ft. venue includes multiple rooms and an outdoor area for meeting.  Our decor is unique and elegant, while being inviting and comfortable at the same time.   You will feel like you have entered an exclusive lodge when  you walk through the doors as  rustic gets hit in the face with elegance and beauty.   The gardens were designed by Internationally Awarded Landscape Architect, Cas Franklin, and have a California Vineyard feel and invite exploration.  Framing the gardens are three pergolas, each with their own fire-pit, each surrounded by natural beauty. Church groups and school groups can utilize the chapel in the woods where electricity is available to meet your needs, or you can remain on the covered deck, or breakaway into rooms inside the venue.

Catering:  We work with several local caterers who can custom plan a meal for you.  Other options would include brining in your own food or ordering from your favorite local restaurant.
